Who are Dodl & Dottie
Dodl & Dottie are the best of friends!
Ever since Dottie discovered Dodl in the cupboard under the stairs at Rowan Tree Cottage, they have become a loveable duo in Fingley World. Whether having exciting adventures, facing challenges, or uncovering secrets, a magical world of discovery is explored each and every day!
Dodl is a magical, talking, time-travelling teddy bear companion who lives with the Popple family in Rowan Tree Cottage in Fingley World.
Dodl has belonged to this same family for many generations. He has golden fur, a heart-shaped face, amethyst-coloured eyes, and purple paws. He normally sleeps in Dottie’s bedroom in a rocking chair at the side of her bed, although he sometimes stays in the tree house too.
Dodl knows that Dottie was born in the Crystal Cave with special powers, so his mission is to help her learn how to use them while having magical adventures.
Bread and jam sandwiches, lemon curd pies with custard, strawberries, and most of all PEANUT BUTTER.
Feeling tired, being small (sometimes the Fingley folk think he can’t help with tasks, but this isn’t true at all).

Dottie lives in Rowan Tree Cottage with
her grandparents, Eli and Susan Popple, in
The Magical World of Fingley.
Whenever she can, Dottie spends time in the Crystal Cave and the tree house at the bottom of the garden.
She has long, curly red hair that is either tucked underneath her favourite yellow hat, or tied in bunches around her ears. Her eyes are sparkling blue, and her freckles spread across her nose and cheeks.
She loves to dress in colourful clothes and often wears dungarees or shorts with odd pairs of socks and yellow boots.
Climbing trees, paddling in the Ocean, collecting seashells, watching wildlife, collecting crystals, mashed potato and cheese crumble, chocolate chip cookies, daisies, sunflowers, and the colour yellow.
When her best friends, Skye and Willow, argue or when animals get mistreated.
