Dislikes: Clutter and fussiness, preferring a tidy and peaceful home. Wastefulness, as she believes everything has a purpose. Disruptions to her harmony, she cherishes calm and balance.

About: Granny Popple is a kind and wise soul who loves nothing more than looking after her family and sharing her knowledge of nature and homemaking. With her warm smile and gentle nature, she brings comfort to everyone in Fingley World. Whether she's baking treats, knitting cosy blankets, or telling magical stories, Granny always has a twinkle in her eye and a loving heart.

Likes: Chasing shadows, especially at dusk when they stretch and dance. Watching spiders, observing them spin their intricate webs with fascination. Sleeping in cosy spots, like inside Dottie’s shoes or on top of bookshelves. Purring with a magical hum, soothing those around him with his unique sound. Exploring Rowan Tree Cottage, sniffing out new and exciting things.

 

Dislikes: Loud noises, which often startle him and make him teleport a few feet away. Being alone for too long, as he prefers to be near Dottie or in a warm spot. Sudden bright lights, which disturb his shadow-chasing fun.

About: Magick is an enchanting little black kitten with a shimmering coat and bright blue eyes that sparkle with mystery. With a mark of the new moon on his forehead, he carries a magical lineage and a curious spirit. Magick loves exploring Rowan Tree Cottage with Dottie, where he finds joy in discovering new places and hidden treasures. Though his magical powers are still developing, his playful and loving nature makes him a treasured companion.

Likes: Adventures with Dodl, discovering magical places and solving mysteries. Collecting crystals and seashells, treasures from her travels. Writing and storytelling, keeping journals and creating stories for The Fingley Bugle.
Paddling in the ocean, watching wildlife and exploring rock pools. Baking with Granny Popple, especially chocolate chip cookies! Her favourite Colours are yellow, red, and green, which match her bright personality.

 

Dislikes: Injustice and unkindness, she always stands up for what’s right. Being stuck indoors, she prefers exploring the great outdoors. Boredom, because there’s always something exciting to do in Fingley World!

About: Dottie lives in Rowan Tree Cottage with her grandparents, Eli and Susan Popple. Whenever she can, she spends time in her tree house at the bottom of the garden. She is a bright and adventurous girl with a heart full of wonder. With her wild, spirally red hair and sparkling blue eyes, she’s always ready to explore Fingley World alongside her best friend, Dodl Bear. She loves to dress in colourful clothes and often wears dungarees and shorts with odd pairs of socks and yellow boots.

Likes: Gardening and beekeeping, growing vegetables and caring for his beloved bees. Woodworking, crafting birdhouses and benches from scratch. Simple, hearty foods, like cheese and potato pie, rhubarb and custard, and chocolate biscuits. Collecting hats, each with a story to tell. Spending time with Dottie, teaching her life lessons through nature and craftsmanship.

 

Dislikes: Wastefulness, believing everything has a purpose and should be reused. Disruptions in nature, as he values the harmony of the land. Losing his glasses, though they’re often found on his head!
